Movies like “Saturday Night Fever” (1977) propelled John Travolta to global stardom. His fame skyrocketed even further with his role in “Grease.”

Born in 1954 in New Jersey, John was the youngest of six children. He left high school to pursue his passion for acting, a decision that, despite its risks, proved to be the best he could have made. Over the years, John has starred in numerous films, including “Two of a Kind” (1983), “Pulp Fiction” (1994), “Get Shorty” (1995), for which he won a Golden Globe, “Broken Arrow” (1996), “Wild Hogs” (2007), and “Gotti” (2018).

In 1991, John married actress Kelly Preston. Their love story began while Kelly was in another marriage, which she later admitted in 2018 was not fulfilling and with the wrong person.

Kelly tragically passed away from breast cancer in July 2020 after almost 30 years of marriage to John. The couple had three children: Jett, born on April 13, 1992; Ella Bleu, born in 2000; and Benjamin, the youngest, born in 2010. In 2009, Jett passed away due to seizures caused by his autism, a loss that left John devastated and uncertain how to cope. He found strength in his love for his other two children.

Like her parents, Ella pursued acting. She expressed gratitude for having parents who provided valuable guidance in the field she was passionate about since childhood. Following Kelly’s death, Ella shared heartfelt words, calling her mother the best person she had ever met and expressing deep love and gratitude for everything Kelly had done for her.

Ella also cherishes a close relationship with her father. John frequently shows his pride in his daughter, especially on social media. He once posted a touching video of himself dancing with Ella in memory of Kelly, mentioning that dancing was one of Kelly’s favorite activities. The strong bond between John and Ella is evident, and we hope it continues to flourish because family is truly the most important thing in the world.
