Emma Watson has transitioned from the magical world of Hogwarts to the esteemed halls of Oxford University, where she has enrolled in a part-time degree course to study creative writing.
At 33 years old, the actress, renowned for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, was last seen in the 2019 movie “Little Women,” directed by Greta Gerwig of “Barbie” fame.
This Master’s course requires Emma’s presence for only a few lectures on-site, with the majority of her coursework being conducted online.
A source shared with The Sun: “This course is designed for older adults and accommodates part-time study, which suits Emma’s busy schedule perfectly. She only needs to be physically present at the university for four or five days annually, as she can complete the rest of her work remotely from home.”
The university has also reportedly informed its staff that Emma will attend classes with a small security detail for her protection.
According to the university’s website, the two-year course costs £20K and includes two guided retreats and a research placement. MailOnline has reached out to Emma’s representatives for comment.
Meanwhile, Emma has been making stylish appearances at various shows during Milan Fashion Week.
Recently, she was seen with bodyguards outside her hotel, following an incident involving Drew Barrymore’s suspected stalker, Chad Michael Busto. During New York Fashion Week, Busto allegedly tried to enter Emma’s dressing room and was subsequently arrested.
Authorities reported that Busto entered a dressing room at an event venue, confronting nearby makeup artists and models while shouting, “I want to marry Emma Watson. Let me speak to Emma Watson. Let me take a photo with Emma Watson.”
It remains unclear whether Emma was present or nearby during this incident.
Subsequently, Chad was released from prison after a prosecutor stated that the alleged offense did not qualify for bail.
This incident occurred less than a month after Chad was released by a Southampton judge following his arrest for stalking actress Drew Barrymore. He reportedly appeared at Barrymore’s Hamptons home shortly after confronting her at a live event.
