Emma Stone and Taylor Swift Are About to Kiss

Emma Stone, a longtime friend of Taylor Swift, has already marked a highlight for her 2024: attending Swift’s Eras Tour once again, a testament to their enduring friendship and Stone’s admiration for Swift’s musical prowess.

In a conversation on The Graham Norton Show alongside her co-star, Mark Ruffalo, Stone discussed their latest film, “Poor Things,” and delved into her deep-rooted friendship with Swift. When questioned by Norton on how many times she’s experienced the Eras Tour, Stone revealed, “Three, so far,” highlighting the duo’s close bond since their late teens. “She was 17 and I was 18,” Stone recalled about their initial encounter at the Young Hollywood Awards in L.A. back in 2008, an event that sparked their lasting connection.

Stone shared her excitement about attending the first show of the Eras Tour in her hometown, Phoenix, Arizona, last March. She expressed her delight in seeing Mandy Moore, the choreographer behind “La La Land,” take up the same role for Swift’s tour, merging professional admiration with personal friendship in a memorable event.

The interview also touched on Swift’s song “When Emma Falls in Love” from the re-recording of her “Speak Now” album, rumored to be inspired by Stone’s past relationship with Kieran Culkin. Stone playfully deferred the question back to Swift, maintaining the mystery surrounding the song’s inspiration.

Stone has previously voiced her awe at Swift’s capacity to captivate her audience, noting the singer’s stamina and ability to perform an extensive setlist while keeping the crowd’s energy high during the Eras Tour. Her repeated praise for Swift’s performances underscores the mutual respect and affection in their friendship, making each concert an anticipated reunion for the duo.
