The Day the Twins Stumped Their Teacher

It was a simple request in an ordinary classroom. The teacher, aiming to complete a routine administrative form, asked each student to write down their father’s name. The request moved down the rows until it reached a pair of identical twins. The two boys, known for their cleverness and tight bond, bent over their papers and wrote.

When the teacher collected the slips, she looked at the twins’ answers and stopped in her tracks. To her complete confusion, each brother had written a different man’s name. Concerned and puzzled, she pulled them aside after class. She asked gently why their answers didn’t match, worried she had stumbled upon a sensitive family situation. The twins just looked at each other with a shared, knowing grin. Then one of them spoke for them both, delivering the perfect punchline: “Now you won’t say that we cheated.”
