Recovery is now the main item on the menu for the 57-year-old host. He is currently at his ranch in Northern California, navigating his home on crutches and with the aid of a wheelchair. Doctors have ordered him to avoid putting any weight on the leg for a minimum of eight weeks, after which he will transition into a cast and begin a course of physical therapy. This lengthy healing process has upended his daily routine and forced a major reshuffling of his professional schedule.
